Programming at the Cité Bleue, the youth hub

Located in the heart of Bordeaux's Bacalan district, on the former site of the Beghin Say sugar refineries, the Achard business park has been transformed into the Cité Bleue. Forum participants and the general public will be able to discover this complementary programme at Palais 2 l'Atlantique, with interactive workshops, cultural events and social areas.

The activities at the Cité Bleue are open to all, with free admission and no registration required.

This workshop explores the construction of dialogue, peace and migration through interculturality and the creation of links between participants. Through concrete examples, tools will be discovered to promote peace, deconstruct prejudices and foster inclusion. Monopoly of Inequality is an extension of the classic game that complements the Monopoly© board but with rules that reflect the injustices of today's society. Counter-mapping: making visible the territorial effects of places of sociability in transitionFrom 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Developing a Social and Solidarity Economy in a context of transition requires identifying the ecological and social contributions made by organisations and their stakeholders. Evaluation can play a role in achieving this goal, if it is used to benefit local communities and not just external stakeholders, particularly financial ones. What if revealing and strengthening these contributions also involved a sensitive register? What if a symbol was worth as much, if not more, than words? Design of original maps showing the practices of third places as actors and catalysts of civic life. The workshop is preceded by an introduction to the challenges of cartography based on examples and concludes with a presentation of the various achievements by the groups.

Following the screening of a documentary, there will be a discussion on the career opportunities offered by the social and solidarity economy. The workshop will provide a forum for debate on young people's aspirations, future skills and careers that are useful for social and ecological transitions.

How do cinema and images in general represent young people searching for meaning and people of all ages who choose to switch to the social and solidarity economy after initially following a more traditional career path? This closing sequence offers an artistic and collective review of the three days of workshops. Through improvisation, humour and slam performances, participants will celebrate the exchanges, ideas and commitments shared in a joyful and forward-looking atmosphere.

The Faces of the SSE produced by e-graine

A series of portraits resulting from a collective effort by young people who met and photographed actors and actresses in the SSE, accompanied by the associations Osons Ici et Maintenant, e-graine Nouvelle-Aquitaine and the artist and photographer Céline Bonnarde. Over three days, discover their perspectives on these inspiring journeys that bring to life a different way of working and building society. 
A convivial exhibition opening by e-graine is planned for Thursday 30 October at 5pm (subject to confirmation).

Ecological Civic Service: the augmented exhibition presented by the Léo Lagrange Foundation

An interactive immersion into the experiences of 20 young people involved in Ecological Civic Service in Gironde, through photographs, sounds, videos and testimonials, highlighting the environmental challenges facing the region and emphasising the active role of young people in the transition. 
A presentation of the exhibition by the Léo Lagrange Federation is scheduled for Wednesday 29 October from 2pm to 5pm.

Volunteering and international work camps offered by Co-travaux

A visual and audio immersion that gives a voice to young people and participants in international youth volunteer work camps and volunteering projects.

An open-air cinema screening

L’histoire de Souleymane, a film by Boris LojkineTuesday 28 October from 8 p.m.

Winner of several awards at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, including the Jury Prize in the Un Certain Regard section, the Best Actor Award for Abou Sangaré, and the FIPRESCI Prize (International Critics' Award).

Synopsis: As he cycles through the streets of Paris delivering meals, Souleymane repeats his story. In two days, he has to attend his asylum interview, the key to obtaining papers. But Souleymane is not ready. 

Discussions may continue at the Guinguette de la Cité Bleue until 11 p.m.

To enjoy one last evening of conviviality after three days of discussions and engagement, the GSEF 2025 Forum invites you to La Cité Bleue, an iconic youth venue in Bordeaux. On the programme: DJ set and a festive space open to all.
A moment to prolong the Forum experience, get together in a relaxed atmosphere, and celebrate together the collective energy brought by young people throughout the event.

A football tournament promoting solidarity and inclusion

The GSEF's SSE Youth division, in partnership with Football Ecologie France, is launching a challenge to all young people participating in the World Forum on the Social and Solidarity Economy in Bordeaux at the end of October, as well as to young people in the region, particularly in the Bordeaux metropolitan area: an international, sustainable, inclusive, solidarity-based and free event..
This football tournament is based on sharing, friendliness and cooperation between all participants. Far from the spirit of competition and performance, it focuses on the pleasure of playing together, respect for everyone and the richness of the encounter. The aim is not to win, but to create bonds in a festive and friendly spirit.

Tournament for young people aged 15 to 25 on a quarter pitch, in teams of 5, for 15-minute matches.

See you on Wednesday, 29 October, from 1:30 p.m. at Stade Batany, 12 avenue Bel Air in Bordeaux, from 1:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
