Visa

Please note: From the September 12, 2025, Forum organizers will no longer be able to issue official invitation letters for visa applications.

Indeed, deadlines for requesting appointments with embassies are very tight!

For participants who need to obtain a visa to attend the Forum Bordeaux GSEF 2025, here are the steps to follow:

After registering, send us a request for an invitation letter, enclosing the confirmation of registration received by email, as an attachment to the following address: contact@bordeauxgsef2025.org

Then, to compile the applications, you will need to visit the France-visas website and carefully follow the list of documents to be provided. For information, a visa application can be submitted 6 months before the planned date of travel. To find out more and prepare your application, you can log on to the France-Visas portal at the following address: https://france-visas.gouv.fr/en/web/france-visas/

You must ensure that you complete the France-Visas procedure in order to make an appointment without delay, even if this is after the date of the event, with a view to submitting their visa application. For information, finalising the form and making an appointment are 2 separate things. You must complete the procedure to finalise the form in order to obtain a France-Visas number.

Please note: The letter of invitation to apply for a visa sent to you by the City of Bordeaux does not constitute validation of your visa. It is only a document to be added to your application to be sent to the consular authorities.
